We are Local Suburban Dads - Just like you

What started as a band evolved into a brand

Local Suburban Dads was established in 2012/2013 (up for debate) and started as basement jam sessions every Friday night. As full time dads, husbands, etc. we yearned to escape the daily stresses and commitments that seem to never end.  So we started playing our favorite songs from the bands we loved every Friday night. No formal training or schooling with regards to playing the guitar, we just wanted to jam. Well, the sessions have continued and also evolved from just wanting to play the songs on the radio to much more. We want you to show the world who you are as a Local Suburban Dad.  Love of Family, Community and the Grill life. Let our merchandise represent you on your own journey.

"Rocking the Local Suburban Dad t-shirt with style! I love the subtle humor and classic design. It's like the unofficial uniform of neighborhood barbecues and weekend DIY projects. I'm truly embracing my dad vibes!" - Happy LSD customer

We have both grown up in the mountains as well as by the sea...Love the salt air and laid back feeling. We also live for those smoke filled cool evenings in the blue ridge. Love the music too; we love our country, rock, hip hop and reggae music-
